My passion for dog training began at age 10, when I taught my childhood Bichon Frisé to play dead. We even dabbled in agility, and I’ll never forget her love for tiny squeaky tennis balls.
In 2018, I fostered my first dog through the Humane Society for Greater Savannah. After working with several fearful fosters, I dove deeper into training—first learning from a positive reinforcement trainer, then completing an 8-month hands-on apprenticeship. I eventually managed a training franchise branch in Knoxville, TN.
In 2023, I launched my own training business and spent the summer living at a behavior-focused in-home training and boarding facility in New Jersey. This experience deepened my skills in handling aggressive and behaviorally complex dogs. Later that year, I returned to Savannah to continue growing my practice.
After being laid off in 2024, I poured myself full-time into my business, Cash Money Canine. I became a professional member of the IACP and began attending conferences, seminars, and continuing education courses—including the L.E.G.S.® Family Dog Mediation® Professional Course in 2025.
I currently live with four personal dogs and am finally pursuing my childhood dream of competing in dog sports. My Belgian Malinois, Oz, and I are working toward trialing in protection sports.
In May 2026, I’ll be heading West to work hands-on with New Mexico's feral dogs as part of an immersive workshop—continuing my commitment to lifelong learning in dog behavior and training.
